🚨 Chelsea position is still to trust Mauricio Pochettino - his job is not at risk at this stage, Chelsea know it’s a young team and will take some time, the club are not so happy with the current situation and want to see improvements, but owners and directors trust Pochettino. (@FabrizioRomano)

Some players need to be dropped.

also and could be an unpopular opinion, but since I think last years injury return, he's had as many bad games as good.

The dreaded vote of confidence. Wonder which manager we'll be appointing in Jan/Feb then lol
I really hope we don't sack him, although this weekend I think was the third issue i've had with him all season.
He should have changed it much earlier, certainly at half time, but I would have before half time myself.
Add that to chillwell left wing and colwill left back.
i think those are the only issues ive had with him so far, the rest is on our sh!tty players
Yeah I wouldn't want to sack Poch either Nick. But that vote of confidence is never a good thing. I remember Potter getting one too before he was sacked.
It's a shame as we were gathering a nice bit of momentum before the international break. One defeat has killed our spirits though which is sort of where we're at as a club sadly.
I think if we're taking a long term approach with the players we can't take a short term approach with the manager.
🚨 Pochettino feels Chelsea squad is too soft. His feeling is they continue to ignore his advice about being “more competitive,” meaning players must be willing to make contact with either the ball or opposing players in duels, be ready to use the dark arts and really strive for victories. (@NizaarKinsella) #CFC
Chelsea are 'ready to do crazy things' to sign 22-year-old Napoli attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in 2024, but could face competition from Real Madrid and Manchester City. Napoli are understood to be looking for €100 million. (cm)
Been saying for a while - we are setting up too defensively. Where yes I am sure there are some issue with the players, but when we start Enzo + Gallagher + 1 and they all generally stay in our half IT IS a problem, and a problem with tactics. As I have said in the past, when we had injuries fair enough, but now there is no excuse.
So question, cos I honestly don't remember but from the last 10 mins I watched Vs Brazil - does Enzo play that deep for Argentina, cos it didn't look like it, and this season he's dropped much deeper and isn't affecting the games like he used to last season
"I really hope we don't sack him, although this weekend I think was the third issue i've had with him all season."
Nick...it's November...that equates to almost a problem a month...& given we aren't in Europe it doesn't add up to a whole bag of beans game time wise
🚨 Telegraph Sport understands that Chelsea are looking at making 2 or 3 first-team signings in the January transfer window to boost head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s squad. (@Matt_Law_DT) #CFC
Chelsea have signed Gabriel Moscardo for €25m. (@10neto @_sccpnews) #CFC
🚨 🇧🇷 Corinthians have reached an agreement with Chelsea for 18-year-old midfielder Gabriel Moscardo for € 26 million. The player becomes the biggest sale ever made by the club. (via @10neto)
Chelsea striker Armando Broja is a January target for Premier League neighbours Fulham after losing Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal in August. Other Premier League sides will also be monitoring developments but Fulham could prove well placed. (Mail)
Trevoh Chalobah is expected to be sold, while Chelsea will listen to offers for Ian Maatsen. Malang Sarr remains up for sale. Armando Broja and Noni Madueke could consider their immediate futures. There remains doubt over the long-term future of Conor Gallagher (via @Matt_Law_DT)
If we are considering selling mads, Maatsen, Broja and Conor we have some far bigger problems behind the scenes

True but Potter was spectacularly poor.
Pochettino might also be that bad but deserves a few months to improve before then.
Especially as he has a much better track record than ol' Graham.
There’s been improvement under Poch. Don’t any of you lie to me and say you saw that we improved under Potter.
At best we got better AFTER he took us to new lows. Hadn’t even reach the low heights we were at when he took over.
