Why’s everyone on here proper over reacting just because we marginally lost to man poo like we always do for the last decade ?

We wasn’t that bad and we had a tough game a couple of days ago that we Won

People are way too knee jerk. We’ve now got a nice run of games where we should get at least 15 from 18 and be closer to the top, so relax

Yeah a team whose manager is under pressure, pretty much outplayed us.

They just had more hunger and energy throughout the game, our lot look drained.

Got quite a few lazy players in the team - Mudryk literally 0 tracking back in the first half, Sterling is the same on the other side.

Enzo and Caicedo looked all over the place in midfield, MCT ran rings around both of them. He literally runs into box unmarked on many occasions

Our lot look sheet ,a multi million $ team of lightweight schoolboys ! apart from grandad of course.

How is this a wum?

Don’t understand the over reaction, people talking like we lost to Luton. We lost to Manchester United by one goal at Old Trafford, 2-3 days after playing a high intensity game vs Brighton with 10 men for 50-60 mins

We literally have a Hoodoo with united at the moment like we have with arsenal the last 5-10 years, add that to a tired squad bare Chelsea team playing away 3 days later, was always going to be a challenge to get something

It is annoying me though that I have to continually be the voice of reason this season

Nah Oscar mate United are absolute filth there’s no way they should be walking over us like that I’m sorry

Sick of Chelsea bending over and spreading their cheeks for United every single season no matter how bad they are

You'd think we'd start to build momentum after a hard fought win v Brighton but no back to shiiit again.

Just literally have no clue with this team tbh, impossible to predict

How are people still talking like we're a standard, run of the mill European chasing team which sees the easier games as point fodder?

Games against the profile of teams we're about to face we struggle to win even if we turn up. We're not set up to beat them, have no creativity in midfield & attack bar Fernandez (who's been a little off this season). There's no way we pick up 15 points from the next 18, absolutely no chance.

That's not reactionary or knee jerk. That's clinical, observational analysis of the type of team we are backed up by over a year of evidence.

This definitely needs to be taken into consideration as that game against Brighton was a killer. Plus we had a bunch of youth players on the bench out of necessity so there wasn't much that Poch do to could change and freshen the team.

I commented a couple of times last night about this continued policy of playing the ball out from Sanchez via the entire back four before it's even cleared our 18 yard box

If we continue to bring this FACKIN RIDICULOUS pressure upon ourselves every match - this rubbish will continue

I can only assume Poch has coached this ridiculous charade & therefore must take the blame

We have plenty of ballers in midfield & wide men that can be found with a low trajectoty goal kick without continually putting defenders under pressure to play the perfect 5 move scenario out of the area surely..

We should've looked to vary playing out a bit more as soon as Jorginho was sold. With him in the team it made sense to see playing out as an integral part of the tactics as it was his whole thing.

One problem we have though based on what I've seen this season is Sanchez's distribution isn't great. Both Kepa & Mendy's was better & neither were exactly brilliant themselves.

Another problem is that Caicedo looks very shaky on the ball. Presumably he was much better at Brighton but so far he's a weak link that cost us a fortune.

If Lavia ever gets fit I can see him displacing Caicedo quite quickly and making him redundant tbh.

Sanchez's distribution basically consist's of under arming a ball out to the nearest player under pressure...who then gets shot of it as quick as possible to someone else under pressure....which I can only presume he's doing under orders

Maybe but so far we can only judge him on Chelsea performances. Maybe he's struggling to deal with the spotlight that his huge price tag has cast on him but this isn't the same player from what I saw at Brighton. He is good with ball at feet but he's not showing it so far.

Caicedo confuses me. I was under the impression he was in the Essien mould - strong, athletic, good tackler, has a decent shot, can recycle the ball effectively. But we're playing him like another playmaker & Gallagher's doing the running? I appear to have been misinformed.

I really should start watching Brighton more. I presume we're gunna keep going back to them so might as well

I remember back in the day I was the lone believer that Ramires would come good. I should think the same about Caicedo cos there's more reason to believe he will, he's not cursed with Ramires' physical limitations for one, but I don't really.

I knew what Ramires was & knew that type of player typically succeeds at Chelsea. Gallagher's another, those players have a place here even if it's not as a key cog. I need more clarity as to what Caicedo is.
