Why we're not signing Gyokeres is beyond me. He'd have been my first choice by a country mile but that clearly isn't happening.

I really don’t understand why we’re after Sancho. If we’re looking at 2 players for each position we already have:

———————Jackson/Osimhen?————————
Neto/Mudryk———Palmer/Nkunku——Madueke/Felix

Maybe Sancho is more suited to that right wing position as backup to Madueke in place of Felix - but then how many number 10s do we need? We already only play one of Palmer or Nkunku - what did we get Felix for?

When I originally heard about Sancho I thought it was another one of our financial tricks where we’d swap him for Sterling and both clubs would benefit from paying for the players over a 5 year period while at the same time getting rid of a high earner. But Man Utd don’t want Sterling - so why are we still interested in Sancho? Maybe someone can explain this to me.
