Decent, maybe a bit light in the centre of the pitch. Lacking a physical DM if Lavia can't stay fit.

Entire defence (including GK's) looks Europa quality at best. Centre midfield look good on paper if a bit light as you say. Good variety in attacking midfield but no-one scary. Not enough strikers.

However the issues lie in the oldest players being 26 y/o, and the fact 99% of it have been at the club a maximum of two years. This paints a clear picture that spells out 'STOP BUYING PLAYERS' which we know won't happen

Correction : no-one scary except Palmer, I was looking at the wingers when I wrote that.

Gusto still unavailable. Diasi at RB again tomorrow. Wish Enzo would just play one of the youth players. Maybe Acheampong who's been hyped like crazy.

Yep, and still not being gas lit by cucurella. Thought he done the basics for Spain and still put teammates under pressure a lot.

Think he’s been better this season than he was for Spain tbh, and been impressed, but still not confident in him.

I think in hostile away grounds where refs can be swayed cucurella is always a potential red as he just looks rash (maybe the hair!)

Yeah I want to see Nkunku start up front as well Nick. Inevitably he'll come on but hopefully it's not already too late by then.

I'm actually more comfortable with Fofana at RB than Disasi who lacks footballing ability I think.

Hopefully Cucu and Sancho establish some chemistry down that left side.

Let’s see how fofana gets on before making that assumption superb (although I would wager ur right!) Disasi and badiashile even more so are so cumbersome, it’s actually incredible at this level.

So yeah weak links are our flanks and cms. Enzo and caicedo really need to get a grip of games soon and start dominating. All that would require is staying close together, winning the ball and playing it to our talented forwards. It’s as simple as that

Expect Cucurella to play inverted so he can help in the midfield.

Hope so. It's definitely time for Cucu inverted. Especially as we clearly need more defensive nous in CM.

I think there is a real risk that West Ham midfield stuff us today

Pretty much, I don't know what else we do with this guy if he can't play that role.

Defence needs to improve massively if we’re to get something out of this game. We got away with murder in some of the previous games.

Set piece nightmare agst West Ham,although maybe less swith Moyes gone

No Soucek or Antonio starting so they're less physically threatening.

It's more the pace on the counter attack with Kudus, Bowen and Summerville. Paqueta got some Brazilian magic too
