First thing he's done all game. Better though, needs to be picked out and combine with Madueke more.

I thinkmost people felt it was a pen before any replays were shown.

I was wrong, it wasn't a pen but it looked messy — and it was — took about 5 angles to resolve.

Sancho slows it down a bit too much and keeps coming inside where all the bodies are

Well until they scored we were OK, but did not create anything. After they scored, tbh we are fortunate it is only 1 0

Ok half for most part

Weird one, I thought we settled into the game well and first 25 mins were decent.

But there was always a feeling our defence wasn't completely at ease and could be exploited and now I feel quite lucky we're still in it at 1-0.

Havertz scored a worldie header at Anfield from a corner once

Disappointing first half. Should've made more of the opening 25 mins and CBs have left a lot to be desired.

Bright spots have been Lavia and Madueke. Look the mostly likely of doing something to get us a result. James also not as rusty as I thought he'd be - has made some nice line breaking passes.

Yeh been pleasantly surprised with James.....but seems mads doing all the running

1) Keep it tight first 10 mins of second half
2) Get Palmer involved more with Madueke
3) Calm Sanchez down

We have passed through Liverpool's midfield quite nicely at times,but made nothing of that

If we’re going to score it will be from Madueke’s side - he has the heating of his man. Sancho looks like he has no idea what to do with the ball. I think Neto would be more dangerous than Sancho.

Beating

Not too bad but we didn't respond well to the goal or the change of tempo in the game. The pains of watching a team without leaders on the pitch.

Our long transition into becoming Wenger's Arsenal feels like it's reaching completion
