Mount started believing his own hype and his once standout attributes like tenacity and agility look very eroded. He's just a bog standard PL player now by the look of it. He'll probably end up at a mid table PL club.

the problem for mount is that he represented so much positivity at the time, Frank Lampard's academy boys finishing 4th in the table, It was good times and mount was the jule of the crown. he cemented his place under tuchel as well.

He got by alot on that and some good performances but i think we all knew he wasnt a world class player, he was a very good player.

The trouble with moving to united is that all of the sentiment is gone, he is juts another player, that coupled with poor performances and injuries and his deficiencies as a player will ultimately leave him being seen as nothing more than a flop and the inevitable move to Everton / Crystal palace.

his best bet for his career is to go to Milan or somewhere

That was my fear for him if he left. At Chelsea he'd always have been a star to some degree, a lot of United's fans look a him like another Lallana. He's just a nice player when he's fit.

I did think he should've pushed for Liverpool if he was so intent on leaving, but given Klopp's gone now (the main reason for that being beneficial to him) maybe not.

Hope the money's worth it is all I can say.

The guy who started it voted Conservative in the GE.

Probably means little in the grand scheme of things but it symbolises how incredibly unpopular Starmer and this government are since taking over. Think Starmer might have the worst approval rating of a new PM coming in since records began
