What a cross by Madueke aka best player ever

Well that was a timely goal

Smallest player on the pitch scoring a header agst the giants of Brentford

I was losing it when we kept crossing the ball into the box with only one player in the box vs 5defenders and then that goal happened.

Come on lads . I'm counting on yous to stop Liverpool winning the title 👍

Yeah,they were criticising that tactic on the radio just as we scored

Thought that was a good half against a very intelligent Brentford team.

Cucurella was exceptional - even before the goal - turning into one of my favourite players.

Madueke and Sancho both finding a lot of joy out wide - great assist from Madueke for the goal.

Palmer's been fine, neither great nor bad, it's a tough game, no one is perfect for 90 mins. Likewise Jackson, he's been fine.

Enzo was Enzo. Really useful in the attacking third, also gave away the ball.....four times in our own half

Caicedo has been poor on the ball but typically busy off the ball.

Colwill and Tosin look decent, but Sanchez keeps giving me nightmares.

Sanchez can't even control a ball doing 0.5 miles an hour. It's fricken scary cos we can be in complete control and boom a goal (Arsenal is a great example of this)

I said poor on the ball - I didn't say poor.

We might not win, Brentford are a good team - but I don't think that has been scrappy at all. We dominated the ball, created 5-6 openings and scored one.

Brentford are a good side, they aren't going to roll over.

Think some people forget we can still narrowly win or even draw tough games and play well in the match.

Madueke is a strange one. His touch has not been great at all today, but he does look most likely to make the difference. Great cross for the goal, and I really hope that confidence boost helps him turn it on the second half.

Well I disagree, think he was mixed.

By the way, in the US the commentators mentioned that the cross for the goal was our 21st cross of the game - and we normally average 15 per game. So it’s obviously a tactic we’re employing against Brentford
