Chances are at the very least we will enquire about him. A lot of rumours said that we were one of the main clubs after him, before he went to Real.

How old is he now 29..

Top quality player - would be expensive to run though

I'd be pleased

I wouldn't mind Kaka at all, as long as he's available for the right price.

Miroslav Stoch linked with Arsenal

Perhaps I've expected to much from him after all the hype and such around him that I've been unimpressed by what I've seen of him on a consistant basis so far Gazza.

Tim Wiese linked with Real Madrid as understudy and long term succesor for Casillas.

I don't doubt that Gazza, but he needs to start doing it on a regular basis.

It would help if I could actually see him in this country though.

Catch ya later, gotta run off for the train!

Isn't Tim Wiese like 29/30?

posted on 2/5/12

I think he'll make it, he seems determined to do well for us.

Snap

I think so. I'm sure he's 30 odd.Can see why he would be understudy but he's definitely not going to be a replacement. Think they'll be after someone no older than 25.

Ramires believes his ability to play in a number of positions for Chelsea has boosted his international prospects with Brazil.

The industrious midfielder has used his boundless energy to help resuscitate Chelsea's once flagging campaign.

They are now in the UEFA Champions League final after his stunning displays against Barcelona in the two-legged semi-final, which culminated with his audacious lob in Camp Now.

Unfortunately, he will miss the showpiece against Bayern Munich through suspension, but he should be available to face Liverpool on Saturday in the FA Cup final.

National team
Having arrived in this country as a centre midfielder, the Brazil international is now displaying a versatile approach to his game, which he feels can only enhance his international credentials.

"I can be called up any time now for the national team thanks to my work at Chelsea," he told Arena Sportv.

"I was playing as a box-to-box player and now I am playing as a winger. I played as a right-back in the match against Barcelona.

"I want to help [the team] and if I need to play in different positions, I will try to do my best."

John Chapman - HNB reports Nacer Chadli's agent as saying 99% certain that he will be joining #ffc. Chadli out of favour with McClaren

Also seems to think that if the move goes through it increases the chances of Dembele leaving.

Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez has said John Terry deserved the red card that will see him miss the UEFA Champions League final.

Terry was shown red for kneeing Sanchez in the back during the 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night that meant Chelsea will meet Bayern Munich in the final.

The Barcelona forward says Terry should be ashamed of himself for the reckless and unprovoked challenge that left the Blues to battle for more than 50 minutes against the Spanish giants with 10 men.

"It was shameless and not something I would expect from a player of Terry's standing and ability," Sanchez said.

Shocked
"I was completely shocked by Terry's unprovoked actions, particularly in a game of such great importance."

"He could have really hurt his team but then had the good fortune to see them qualify. I'm not sure there was much justice."

Terry himself initially denied any wrongdoing before later admitting his actions let Chelsea down, but Sanchez has revealed he is yet to receive an apology.

"He crossed the line and he regretted it," Sanchez added.

"I never spoke to Terry after the game or since. He did not apologise but I think he was too wrapped up in the celebrations."

UEFA revealed on Friday that despite being suspended for the final Terry will be allowed to lift the Champions League trophy if Chelsea overcome Bayern at the Allianz Arena on 19th May

Arsenal are monitoring closely Mamadou Sakho's deteriorating situation at PSG.

The defender has long been admired by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and confessed he would be considering his options after a difficult season under coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Things become worse for Sakho on the weekend as he gave away penalty in defeat to Lille.

French sources say it could be the final major act by Sakho as a PSG player.
