Drogba - without doubt

For me it was Drogba but i think he was pushed all the way by Lampard who had his best game for months last night

For me Drogba and Cech were the two crucial ingredients. I would take Droga as MOTM because for as much as Barca attacked they created few scoring chances for Cech to make any outstanding saves last night.

I cant single out one player but for me the best have to be cole, ramires cech, lampard and even torres for the composure at the end.

Ramires again for me showed that he will become one of the best midfieders in the PL. He's still young but in my opinion (although he played most of the game at right back), he has the energy, the brain, the pace and after last night's goal, the skill to become one of the best box to box midfielders the PL has ever seen. Over the last few seasons I've seen a lot of Chelsea fans slate him but he always looked a decent player to me. He is what Anderson should be and that annoys me about our own failed midfielder!

Well done Chelsea, as much as I have disliked your team in the past, I think that RDM could be the man to make Chelsea a likeable team in the future!

Whoever you face in the final (and Real are my favourite European side), I hope you go on to win it! I'm sure the Spurs/Arsenal/Newcastle or whoever makes 4th spot fans won't want you to win it though!

I loved the way RDM handled Shreevesy in his interview when asked about the impact of losng 4 key players after breaking Ivanovic's heart!! Top man for me. You don't need a big name manger. He will quietly do an excellent job.

Ashley Cole- he over two legs has been a consistant defender against the best attack probably ever

Ramires- He is such an old school box to box midfielder i love him

Cole, Ramires, Cech all put in 9/10 performances in both legs. Arguably Drogba as well

I thought Cole was outstanding. Didier, Rami and Cech were all 9s too. Cech for organising a makeshift defence like he did and making such crucial saves, Rami for giving us an occasional out (and defending like a lion) and Didier, for showing Roman why we don't want to lose him.

Didier's a player who needs love - AVB didn't give it to him so he didn't perform; Big Phil didn't give it to him, so he didn't perform. As a club we seem to prefer man-managers and motivators - look at Jose, Hiddink, Carlo and now Robbie: they all built strong bonds with the big players quickly and they were all repaid.

I'm still a little shocked about how last night went! I was utterly convinced it would be 5 or 6 after they got their 2nd!

I agree, Cole was superb over the two legs. It's no coincidence for me that Messi has struggled against Chelsea. It's down to the fact he's usually been up against Cole who can happily cope with him.

Jose might have been watching last night with a view to get Cole to Real!

Quite possibly! I've watched Coentrao (admittedly not enough for this to be a proper opinion) but I really don't think he's that good. Anyone else know more?

I also thought Bosi did a good job at CB... maybe he's got a new calling?! ha
