We're still awaiting any feedback about our performances in the CL in 2005 that aren't ridicule and derision. And we actually left our own half.
We parked the bus (but far, far, far less than Chelsea did), got lucky and triumphed.
I just don't understand the lavish praise Chelsea are getting when they won uglier and less deservedly than we did. And we were crucified for it.
Unfortunately all clubs have stupid fans. Some even have idiots who go on another fans board, create an article, generalising the whole support on the board and tarring them all with the same brush, like yourself, for example.
There's barely any bitter articles at all, and the ones that are have been pretty much shouted down by the majority of fans on here.
Glad you've crawled away from your board to make the point though, how often do you spend trawling through the Liverpool board getting wound up?
TOOR's been backing us from the beginning
A lot of fans were saying we would get hammered at the Bridge... Then they were saying it would be a cricket score at the Nou Camp.
The only thing that annoys me is when fans were predicting us to get hammered.
We're not Utd or Arsenal .We havent got the players to go toe to toe with Barcelona. Not that Utd or Arsenal did but they attacked anyway and got punished. We played a very negative game plan, got some luck on the way and we ended up scoring more goals than them. They've never beaten us by a massive margin ever. We got a draw at the Camp Nou in 09, we beat them there in 06 and Messi has never scored against us. Despite ALL of that, people were stil predicting massive 4-0 losses for us in each leg
I think chelsea did well and did what they needed to.
But i also think winning the Carling Cup deserves praise, i doubt many chelsea fans would have done that
Mr C
I never predicted a cricket score, just like a wouldn't predict a tennis score in a bowling tournament
OP - Thanks for the vote of confidence OP but I don't realy care what they post on their own board.
Just annoys me when they feel the need to come over to our board to drain down!
"But i also think winning the Carling Cup deserves praise"
Emirates Cup > Carling Cup > Champions League
WELL DONE CHELSEA I LOVE YOU
Mr Chelsea
no problem brummieblue, it's just that they spend alot off time calling us bitter when in reality they are the most bitter fans in the country.
Pride So John Terry's knee into Sanchez.. Accident?
To be fair. Most Liverpool,Utd, Arsenal, Everton, Bolton, Spurs, Notts Forest and so many more fans from other clubs have come and said congratulations
Thought it was a bit harsh...
Surprised Arab fell for the article to be honest

Says the guy that uses a Chelsea win against Barcelona in a tournament that neither one of the Merseyside teams have competed in this season to have a go at Liverpool...
Just saying.

No, that's still you guys. Most Liverpool fans couldn't give a toss what happens on the other side of Stanley Park but you guys live and breathe for it.
Terry released about 15 different statements about the incident before full time
T BONE - I bet we'l muck up the final. Hope not.
Rather win ugly than not win at all!
Hope they win it, I like DiMatteo.
Hazy, please feel free to read - thats if this particular skill has not evaded you thus far - to the many comments, my own included, congratulating Chelsea on their win. For the neutral, its wasnt the most spectacular of games. Chelsea's skipper is not a well bunny. They won without Luiz, who I think is their best signing, Mata aside, in years. Up there with Istanbul 2005? I'll leave you to make your own mind up, that way I cant be accused, wrongly, of bias. JimmyTheRed

you can only beat what's in front of you,but beating Birmingham on penalties is nothing to crow about.
Hazy EFC
We know that anyway mate!
Anyway have you seen Kirsty Gallaghers TlT's this afternoon!
Jimmy I can read that's why I put 'so many' and not all articles.
