Back - matches (or more so results are a tricky one)

Ideally I'd like one division of 8/10 teams, and I do feel that some form of tactics along with a starting line up would be good. The tactics could be brief, but I'd like us to base results on both line ups and tactics. Do we just predict on everyone's matches apart from our own?

If so then how would one formulate an actual result from the predictions?

If we predict on all matches but our own, we can tailor the predictions to aid our own team

that leaves it open to people voting for personal gain

It would make for a short season is all, maybe the knockout or similar format after the groups could be 2 legs? That would squeeze the length of the season up to 10 or so weeks? Could run say 4 of these a year (say 4 weeks between tournaments) scarf for a winner of each comp?

Or we could have relegation and promotion, have a leage 1 and league 2 ?
