I would have Aqua back. One of the reasons he got loaned out was due to having Gerrard (according to Comolli) who hasn't had the best season. It was Comolli who loaned him out and wanted him sold for £6m. No wonder Comolli got sacked, with negotiations of such stupidity.
Also Aquilani doesn't split the fans. It's just a little minority who want to defend club dealings in any way they could.

i would agree but they play in the same position. as does joe cole, gerrard, henderson and to some extent suarez. all would want to play in the attacking midfielder role behind the striker. we cant have all these guys.

we presume joe cole will not be here. then i think it 1 of henderson, adam, aquilani or ramirez cannot be here. personally i'd get rid of adam and keep aquilani and ramirez. 4-3-3 formation for next year. rotate those midfield 3
