The record world wide viewing figures for a Old Firm game was 89m.

So for EPL title decider I think you could double that!

But how do they calculate these figures?

Another paper said 650 million!

Apparently tv advertising prices and clamour for space has gone up massively as its expected to be the most watched prem game ever.

No nerves

Aff the top of there head, they say 1 billion people watch the olymipcs or World Cup final

That is 1 in 6 people around the world.

Its like X factor aswell, the viewing figures in Britain are calculated on 224 households who have been specially picked.

They are all middle class semi detached types. Not a true dispora!

I know, its wierd, because usually 2-3 people be watching on 1 TV with me so you cant really calculate this stuff

In the same way they calculate how much drugs seized in raids are worth, take a logical guess, and then add six zeros to the end of it.

I think it will comfortably be that many people if you look at the asian market alone.

As for 1-2million in the UK i'd expect it to be a lot higher than that.

Well their is 5m Man U fans in London alone!

I have know and have met many asians and i have yet to meet one that has any interest in football let alone the premier league

As for 1-2million in the UK i'd expect it to be a lot higher than that.

I done this calculation based on all the people I know, friends, relatives, work collegues and neighbours, and I make it 2-4% of these people will watch the match.

The game is shown 15 secs behind real time, so instead of showing a City goal it cuts to a photoshopped image of David Beckham wearing a United shirt and on crutches in the stands.
