Sorry for being so glib, but hey, we know all this. Feels like a circlejerk, going round in circles but nobody is addressing the actual problems.

When i saw the final fixture i had terrible visions of Kasper celebrating promotion whilst we languished in midtable mediocrity.
Didn't really expect the likes of Watford and Derby to be above us, but likewise i didn't expect to finish above Ipswich and Forest.
Also even if we had kept Kasper, Johnson, Kilkenny, Howson and Gradel and added the players we did i still don't think it would have been enough. Shows how far behind last season we really are.
Decent first seasons for White, Lees and Clayton, although looks unlikely White will remain (what a waste, still at least we'll get compensation).
Big transition in the summer, lets just hope we actually give ourselves a chance next season and behave in a much more professional manner next term.

Imagine had we held onto Johnson, Gradel, Howson, and added a centre mid worth mentioning and a centre back worth mentioning. That's a promotion side right there.

Well that's what us morons had in mind Marko. What a difference that would have made as well, with everyone going into the campaign with optimism, instead of organising protests next to the Billy Bremner statue for the very first home league match. As Neil Warnock knows, a large and positive Elland Road crowd is a fantastic asset as we showed against his QPR last season.

Well the money we've got from the sales of the players has certainly left us better off!
