"despite they earned a draw at Upton Park"

ACTUALLY, West Ham earned a draw. We lost a lead.

If that's the case, West Ham should have won the game in injury time.

Benny, only 3 points far from the top.

Wonder, how many points you (title elect) are far from Man City?

No away wins in 2012..

Why dont you get a HM Government petition drawn up like you did this one:

http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/55443

...to see if you can reach 100,000 signatures to get the FA to change the rules just for the 's.

Lets hope you can get more than 7,559 in 8 months, like the one above.

What is that e-petition got to do with this play-offs?

I am quite happy to hear your new stadium progress from jpeg to.........?

Maf,

You claim you are just 3pts behind automatic promotion, in a desperate attempt to suggest West Ham are entitled to go up.

I just thought, as you're experienced in this type of thing , you could set up & post around a petition to see if we can get the FA to change their rules for West Ham.

What do you think? Would it be taken more seriously than the petition you sent round in September 2011?

posted on 1/5/12

Can you put up an e-petition to change the rules that drawn by an independent body like FA?

Please feel free to suggest me.

Thats what e-peitions are for. They can be set up to change anything you like, if you feel that strongly about it.

All you need is 100,000 signatures & it has to (by law) be brought up in the HoC. They'd dismiss it just like they would your other one, but its worth a try. Its your only route to the Premiership.

If they brought up in the HoC, would they change the rules set up by FA without concerning anyone or anything.

Suppose, if Spurs fans create an e-petition to award PL title because they haven't won it in the last 50 odd years, then if you reach 100k signatures then would FA award the PL title for you?

Being in the playoffs is a pain, but no complaints from me, over a season you finish where you deserve.

The playoffs have now been around for some time and all clubs/fans know the rules before the season starts.

The gap from third down proves we have been better by a large margin than the other teams in the mix and should be confident, but it does not mean we deserve promotion yet.

Maf, whatever you say doesn't really matter..

You're in the championship

MafiaBoy

I'm not sure winning the league is a ruling that can be changed, as i dont believe there is a current rule in place that says when a team would or wouldnt. Its simply done on a leaderboard basis determined by points gained.

You might be able to change the scoring system though, maybe ask the Govt if they can approach the FA to award more points for an away win ..&/or if it was achieved by hoofing it in the air.

At least that way West Ham might get out the Championship.

More points for away win is a realistic wish.. as opposed to award a league title for Spurs as they haven't won it for 50 years or being considered as title elect by Sky.

Benny, that's obvious.

Least we've won the first division, you absolute clown.

Championship ohdear.

Mafia,

You speak as if West Ham have been regular winners of the title.

West Ham cant even get in the right division to be able to compete for it.

For the record, the last time they did they came last.

Hello West Ham fans,

I heard somewhere that Big Sam has sent out letters with regards to '86 points would usually be enough etc etc' to fans...is this true?..

My feeling is that you will get to the final but miss out. Just think the pressure on your lads may be a little too much.

You can read my views on the play off's at my football blog site which can be found at:

Shamless plugging I know but attempting to build a career in sports journalism (awaits chorus of boos). I will be actively engaging in chat on this forum so please dont think im only here to promote.

(Apologies if this contravenes house rules)

See you at Wembley then.

I dont think your aerial bombardment will be able to save you this time though, therefore leaving us to play the football you can only dream off on the wembley surface, getting promoted to the EPL leaving you and the pair of clowns you call owners in the Championship.
