Modric ain worth 50 mill as a player. but the fact that he is very important for us, plus we do not need to sell him, plus its chelsea that want him, plus he has 5 years on his contract to run, means we can pretty much value him at whatever we want.

henryscat... fabregas situation is some differences tho... for example he has wanted to leave for some time but been declined a move but still played because i think he likes arsenal and wenger a lot.

also, fabregas has fallen below the high standards he set for himself in the last couple of seasons... thus value decreases, whereas modric just had his best season yet.

with this in mind.. i think that modric currently as a higher market value, though not by much.

if we sell to chelsea then i want levy to completely mug them off with the deal.
