Technically, I would only be bitter over the last 27 years, as anything that happened before I was born is of no concern to me (in sporting terms). But I am not, because everything that is happening now supersedes any disappointment I have felt in the past

City over the past two seasons have been getting some recognition for the team they've - from one season to the next - bought.
But when it comes to respect as a club, that's something you have to earn over period of time and not expect over a season. No matter what idiotic table a City fan throws up to point a big nothing out, you're still Man City with one cup won over 25 odd yrs. Very poor showing imo.
When you've won a couple of CL's or quite a few PL titles, then come back with your table and show us what respect you deserve. Until then shhhh...
