Yakubu has more goals for less money. Would have been great if we'd got him as well, though.
Cisse is 10 times better than Yakuba and tonights results means nothing If QPR beat Stoke we are down even if we win both games
SKA, you have to take into account the fact that Cisse was only a January signing (and even then I don't think he played till February) so if it was spread over the whole season he'd easily have more than the Yak.
Cisse looks to be some player. Some of his goals have been absolutely top drawer.
Was never going to be affordable for us, and besides with David (two yard) Goodwillie knocking about, who needs Cisse?
even if we had signed him, we wouldn't have played him just to make sure he didn't get his goal bonuses.
We had as much chance of getting him in as we did Ronaldinho! So close oh well we made the formidable purchase of Bradley Orr on a free instead! Ever heard of being talked up then let down massively?!
