We are still far from safe and we desperately need a result this Sunday. If we lose to Spurs, we may well be 1 of 4 teams that go into the final game of the season on 37 points. Even a draw means we go to Norwich with a very real threat of relegation hanging over us. I know QPR have a tough away game but many are expecting Man City to slip up at some stage. QPR could quite conceivably get a result there, stranger things have happened.
So, absolutely NO protests…yet. It makes such a massive difference to the team when the fans are right behind them. The support against West Brom last Saturday was excellent, and you could see the players responding - they gave everything they had, right through to the final whistle, and it was great to see them acknowledge the fans with some real pride at the end. Imagine how they would respond if there were 40,000 fans backing them, 100%.
RL knows exactly how we feel, already. Let’s go into our final home game of this season in a completely positive manner and stick with our team for the full 90 minutes. We need 3 points, no question, so let’s do everything we can to help our team win this match. This is our last chance to support our team at Villa Park this season - we mustn’t waste it on McLeish.

To protest or not to protest?

I think a protest will do nothing but distract the team.
We are not safe yet and only a win will possibly seal it.
Maybe everyone sufficiently motivated should write in to the club explaining our feelings about the way our Club is being run.
