So no John Fleck

Perhaps Rangers, but does the Scotland International team not have the likes of Bannan and that already?

Have got to say..that McCabe does look decent, how old is he?

McCabe is 10

McCabe is 19, really like the way he plays, and think him and Ness together looked brilliant together.

And Henrik I know Bannan's a decent young player as well, but personally i prefer Ness and McCabe, although to be fair that may come down to my ranger bias!

Looked good last night certainly (particularly McCabe), but tbh Dun Utd were pretty awful....

Like the cut of both their jibs. McCabe's vision and confidence when he tried to shoot from the halway line when Pernis had made a clearance is a good sign methinks. In fact, Scotland selection from now on should be made on the basis of whether you can score a goal from the halfway line (no keeper). We may struggle for players.....

Kyle Hutton is better than Ness

Harper, whenever Ness or Hutton have played Ness has always looked far better to me, if he wasnt so injury prone he would have been starting a lot for us this season imo

Why doesn't Ross Mccormack get a game for you?

I'm surprised McCabe didn't play against Celtic.

Ness as far better than Hutton.
Hutton is more of a battler, Ness is a cultured midfielder in the style of Bazza.

Ness is our 2nd best midfielder i would say after Davis

his vision for passing is 2nd to none, keep him fit in the team and he will do well, neever seen him having a bad game!

ab that wee outside a the left into the box last night would be a fine example

I'd agree,ness is more a player,like McCabe,whereas hutton looks more of a grafter

thats it if you watched the both of them last night ness wanders forward and plays the ball to the forwards and mccabe sits back breaks up play and spreads the pass's! thats how they work well together.

edu just floats about like a blue aarsed fly

Aw the wee bitter Bhoys, cannae ever big up a Rangers youngster, even though many a bear has bigged up Forrest.

Sums up the samll mindedness of the minority of the Bhoys!

aye AB - lettin wee fandans like flood bounce aff him

Who criticised him Marky? We laughed at the Barry Ferguson being a "cultured midfielder". That's all.

Mccabe's a good player, but likewise with Forrest it is important to be patient. I remember watching Kevin Thomson and I thought he would captain your national team. John Fleck's another one that got hyped up a lot and never really did it.

How do you guys think this team looks for next season:

McGregor
Perry Goain Bocanegra
Whittaker Wallace
Davis McCabe Ness
Aluko
Naismith

Admittedly this is heavily reliant on players staying, and there is nop out and out striker, but to me this doesnt look bad at all!

posted on 3/5/12

Henrik nut you can still big them up on their displays and still be diplomatic about there long term ability.

Some of teh bhoys seem to find it hard to big up any Rangers youngster!

^Whiitaker and Wallace as wing backs
