I was at Brentford too - we wern't great but battled it out for the win. (If they had anyone who could finish, we'd have lost).

I am a bit nervous about this one - I have seen Wednesday cack it up on too many occasions to be fully confident but Jones seems to have got the team playing for eachother and as a unit so I feel more confident than normal.

Likewise, can't really face another season in this League. All 11 on the pitch really need to stand up this weekend and not be overwhelmed by a Full House (many won't have experienced it).

United will win in Exeter, I have no doubt about it and Wycombe will be no push overs but we have come this far, to not see it though would be gutting.

I think we will do it but it may be by the odd goal

Great article Tom!!

Its games like this that I really miss, these are the ones that will stick in the memory for ever, especially if we can get the result we need. I will be with all of you in spirit, pacing around my kitchen listening (and occasionally shouting) to the commentary, so give the team a huge cheer from us ex-pats!!!

Great article Tom, as passionate as ever, a great read 5 's from me

Sadly, and I mean Sadly, I cannot make it tommorow but I WILL be listening to it, this is without doubt THE biggest game since the play off final if not the biggest since the cup finals of 93, but what makes this extra special is not just the fact that we are, currently, ahead of the blunts but how we have got as far as we have.

When DJ came in I was firmly on the fence and a little perplexed as to why Meggy was given the boot, and in appointing DJ i was convinced that the best we could hope for was the play off's given the amount of games in hand and the goal difference that Hudders and the blunts had over us. If you had said to me that we would go into the last game needing only a win for auotmatic promotion I'd have thought you were more cukoo than an asylum resident, but DJ has gladly proved me wrong and we have hit the right form at just the right time.

What DJ has achived in his short time here has to be commended. Yes people may say that we wouldnt be in this position if it wasnt for Meggy, witch is true to an extent, but what we have to give Davey a hell of a lot of credit for is the way he has got us into this position. He has got the players playing some decent football, as well as battleing, he's got the players even more united. he has said all the right things and he is spot on with not being overly concerned about the blunts, and he has got the players in the exact same mindset too. He has concentrated only on ourselves and the next game.

Mandaric, as it has turned out so far, has pulled of a masterstroke. In Milan and Dave Jones we trust

Great article Tom. "Once more unto the breach dear friends!" but, at least this time it's all down to us and what the players bring to the table tomorrow! We'll never have a better chance to show who's boss in the steel city! Please wednesday......please don't let us down in this moment of need..... and give it your all to turn our dreams into reality
