T'was ever thus with the White Rose.
Word is that Shahzad's head was too big to get him into his car, and the dressing room was sick of his teddy flying out of the pram at every match.
Good bowler, hope he makes a Test career, he is a Yorkie after all. Right player, wrong time, wrong place?

Think it's a bit more than just 'questioning tactics' from what I've read.
Good luck to him in the future but will be hard to miss him after his recent performances. And it looks like we are doing fine without him too
He didn't want to play for yorkshire, didn't want to be around yorkshire so as we say in Norway - ha det bra
Now lets get on with smacking Leicestershires backside
Maksi
Hoggy what have you heard? I though moxon was open in his interview earlier and he kept on referring to questioning tactics? what else is there to add?
I think his days were numbered when they bought Starc (who is a average Aussie bowler) and he wants to play regularily to get back in the England mould.
Maksi, should win this easy, the Leicesterboo-boys got no chance, still trailing by 320 + runs...Weather permitting, this game is in the bag.
It's very simple. Shazhad does not want to play for Yorkshire. All parties sat and talked and all parties agreed he had to go. I won't miss him cos he ain't that great.
Don't know much about Starc but from what you are saying Afridi, then either Shazhad is the best bowler on earth or Starc is useless because from what I have seen of both, I am not even sure Starc is worse than Shazhad.

No one knows the full story yet but he is a good fellow Huddersfield lad
Explains a lot.......

Good chatting fellas but have to dash. Lunch break over and there is over 100 tonns with oil drilling pipes that need to be moved to an oil rig, and they ain't gonna deliver themselves
Catch you laters and hope Leicestershire are dead and buried by then
Maksi,
Shahzad isnt the best bowler on earth - far from it. He's a quality bolwer and if he knuckes down, he has the potential to be a world-class bowler, good enough to get in the england set up... But starc is no-where near shahzad yet...
Point is if Yorkshire wanted rid, fine. But at least replace him with a renoun quality and experienced quickie, and not some wishwashy unproven folk. Lets hope it doesnt cost us this season

There's a difference between questioning tactics and refusing to carry them out, which is implied as being the case here.

Agree that’s a fair point. Not sure that any examples have been given regards to this though? If Man city can see the bigger picture and allow Carlos Tevez to bounce back after refusing to even play – then surely Yorkshire could have put up with it for at the very least this season and then assessed it again come September? Then again, moxy did say this has been an on-going issue for 12 months now…. Who knows!

I don't think they'd have got rid of him if he'd said to the coach 'I think I should be allowed a bit more freedom, but I'm willing to be more disciplined if that's what you want', so I think it's pretty clear that what he has said is 'I think I should be allowed more freedom, so that's how I'll bowl, whether you like it or not.'
Hoggy,
If that was the jist of the conversation, then fair enough. The correct call has been made.

"Yorkshire Clueless"
And its people!
We just won without him at our very first attempt, and by an innings to boot
