I think its time for us to part ways
He'll go and join Anelka in China.

It's time to move on.

Sadly, i think he does still have a touch of gas left in the tank, but he's proven this season that his presence is too engulfing for us to lean on him as a squad player. We can't have situations where we throw him into the team and merely hope he decides to play that day.

Up until a few weeks ago, i felt the same way about Lampard. But he's slowly (painfully but slowly) adapting to the 4-2-3-1, so i'd take the gamble that he's got the 'i'm not untouchable anymore' hissy fit out of his system (at the expense of AVB, but no point losing them both) and retain him as a useful deep lying squad player - hopefully as backup to Modric

Lex

Give him a 2 year contract just for the Arsenal games

Thats the problem HHHBF. He clearly has something left in him and that something when he decides to produce it, can help us beat any team but he cant do it every game.

As I said. I dont want us to regret it, if he does leave.

I'm supporting Chelsea tomorrow.

Hope DD scores a hattrick!

We have to move on.

We can keep all our over 30's and let the team get even older and slower.

Watching him playing for someone else will be hard.

I agree with this. I can´t see Drogba being a squad player for us. It just doesn´t seem to work that way.

With Drogba it´s all or nothing and apart from him stepping up for big Champions League games we´ve just haven´t seen enough from the big man this season.

Hopefully we win the Champions League Final and Drogs plays a big part in us winning it then we can part ways on a major high.

Either way as much as it pains me to say it Drogba has to leave this summer and I will probably cry like a baby when it happens

Anelka apparently wants Owen to join him there too, hope he does go really.

It's very sad because he's my favourite player of the Abramovich era, but i think we have to move on. A new CF will be a must if he goes. Someone like Olivier Giroud, Cavani or maybe Falcao would be an ideal replacement. There will never be another Didier Drogba for everything he does both on and off the pitch, but this is the year we need to really move on. I actually hope he goes somewhere and does really well, not China. Maybe back to marseille to be a hero for a couple of years.

I think that Hulk is the most likely replacement. Hulk can play in the centre forward role but he can also play wide right so would be a good replacement and give us the physical presence we´ll lose when Drogba leaves.

Superb - i'd be happy to take Hulk as well. The players i mentioned were the best like for like replacements that are out there rather than who i think we will actually get.

Hmmm I want him to stay. Take up a player\coaching role.

First we need to get rid of Sturridge - when he and Kalou play we have so little service it's ridiculous.

Then we need to offload Malouda and Bosingwa - they are liabilities.

Meireles should be benched a.s.a.p. Why did Meireles become the first choice to play in the hole behind the striker anyway? wtf???

And then we can think about Drogba's extension.
