He certainly was! I had an awful dream in which was nonetheless replaced by Nigel Pearson early in the season (no, really), after which our season went belly-up and we finished ninth. But in reality we cruised to the championship title, and start next year in the Premiership, hurrah.
Yes, he was a great success.
He signed players like Johnson, Ball, Pantsil, Ricardo and Patrick Van Arnholt who managed to tear this division to pieces.
Danns, St Ledger and Beckford were also brilliant signings until a nasty man called Pearson came in and couldn't get as much out of them so their games fell to pieces.
Whilst I agree Sven did a great job, his affair with Susan Whealan still doesn't sit well with me.
Whilst he turned us into a championship winning side with his shrewd signings, his off the field antics still concern me.
Maybe we should bring Pearson back. He's a man of integrity and would get the best out of Mills?
hope we sign someone soon, dont think i can take 3 months of ,pearson v sven & beckford threads

Well, depsite spending millions and your fans banging on about how you were going to walk the NPC this season, you ended up mid-table.
Oh, and you've still never won a proper trophy so you've not missed a lot really.
