CY. looks like a good all round proposal to me. 👏

Agreed. About time some of the pundits came out and said what they think the punishment should be .

Aye, £600K is really the price of integrity in Scottish football. They WILL be in the SPL next season

It won't happen, but they should be prevented from playing anywhere until every penny of the debt is paid back.

Are you saying keep a transfer embargo inplace till we pay back potentially £130m????

Seriously?

Why not Mitre ? Pay the sins of the master ( MInty ) that you all worshipped so readily .

posted on 5/5/12

Are you suggesting that the £130M doesn't matter, and we just forget all about it.

I thought you didn't do walking away.

Because its not how business works.

We will contribute more in tax and trade by being able to function. This is the most efficient way to begin to put those funds back into the system.

That is why the government has not closed the pre-pack method to get out of admin.

I keep getting the feeling that the Rangers fans think their club has done nothing wrong. In the past I heard David Murray arguing that Rangers (and for that matter Celtic) should not be subsidising the smaller clubs. They should get their houses in order ...........
He was supported whole heartedly by the Rangers fans.

He managed to get out before the crud really hit the fan and now I hear these same Rangers fans crying for a bit of support from these same 'Diddy clubs' to use the phrase used by some of their fans.
This is supported by threats from members of their clubs no boycott away games ...

Can you just explain to me why (a very much weakened Rangers team) should expect support from us 'Diddy fans because I can see no justifyable reason why we should

maybe Rangers should go down the same route as Wimbledon?

start afresh, non league?

Christ, it's just dawned on me . You are the good guys after all . By tryin to get away with 8p in the pound, or whatever it is, you are doing all us tax payers a big favour !

That is what you are a people .

Not of this world !

Let me clarify. The embargo exists until all football debts are paid off. The other debts they should not get away with either because if they do get a cva, then they will be the only club operating in the SPL next season with no debt. Is that fair?

Therefore they should be made to pay back every penny no matter how long it takes. My American wife came up with that part of the plan.

Yes, it's payback time berz. Take yer medicine! 👿👊💉because your worth f. all!

Tell Gertrude she has a fine brain on her ! If they come out of this smelling of roses, the smelly stuff will cause Scottish Football to collapse. Civil War looming !

IMHO we should face the existing punishments - if that means Div 3. Then that's the correct price to pay.

The question is Mitre, how much of this debt will be paid back under your proposal. If you are saying all of it, then to you.

But if you are saying a penny less, then you are part of the problem, and nothing to do with the solution.

RFC will not achieve a CVA...

They will liquidate

Nope...Spl with penalties

Specialone,

Im not asking for or expecting sympathy.

If we need to go down to the bottom then thats fair enough.

We should face the punishments normally applied to clubs that go insolvent. Nothing more, nothing less.

There are calls for us to be crippled with punishments much harsher than any other precedent ever set in world football. Thats what I dont agree with.

Sandy JArdine is convinced they will come out of this debt free. He seems quite proud of this despite the fact hundreds of creditors will get shafted .

Nice ideals Sandy .

Nonsense...Airdrie were liquidated and NOT allowed back in

Aidrie United then had to purchase Clydebank

TCD

I am realistic enough to believe that the likes of Yorkston & Johnston et al will allow them to walk away from £millions in order to save their own skins and keep their TV deal intact.

Remember £600K is the price of sporting integrity in Scottish football.

Agree with this totally.

Face the full extent of the rules as they are.
