He's supposed to be unbiased, hence a conflict of interest
So what does that matter? A co-commentator has no bearing upon the outcome of a game. His supposed "conflict of interest" matters not a jot.
It makes watching the game better for the neutral if there isn't a cheerleader commentating on the game
So turn the sound down.
Personally, I just ignore the commentators anyway.
In a way I agree with the OP. Not sure if Quinn was biased or not as I didn't hear the commentary. But I absolutely hate it when commentators come out with their opinions during the game rather than just commenting on what's happening on the pitch.
That's why I dislike listening to Alan Green so much.
