We came to your place, Had 63 % possesion had far more shots on and off target. ( villa had one shot on target a cruel deflection off gallas for the goal)
We had 18 corners and camped in your own half for much of the game.
We also played with 10 men for half of the game and still were the more likely team.

I know villa well having lived in the midlands for 32 years and this is the worst villa team i can remember.

Without a doubt the worst team. I'm a Villa fan of the younger generation and I get told by the older generation, those who have supported Villa much longer that this is the worst team in our history. Now what do you do when you get told that...

I just can't believe this plank continues to play negative... We've played you lot twice this season (4-0 and 1-1) and I believe in both them games he played about 12-14 defenders/defensive players. He played about 7 defensive players at WHL, and about 6 today... Shocking

I really feel sorry for Villa fans. It's a real shame how you've gone backwards, I've always liked Villa who play good football.

Hopefully Villa come back strong next season

After the results Jeff Stelling and the guys on SSN were pretty much making out that McCleish keeping Villa up was a terrific achievement. A lot of media types seem to think McCleish to be some sort of genius which confuses me no end.

Even with the defendball McLeish plays with us, even with the reserve players we play, we are still and will continue to remain better than you just like we have been since the feckin' 1800's!

Try and get back into the PL then you can say something about your yo-yo club, remember we are not a yo-yo club never have been, whereas yourselves, Wolves and WBA always feckin’ have been.

What do you honestly think is going to happen from here on in?
You have got another season to look forward to with McJudas in charge and believe me, it will be a long, long season for you!
We do not need to get back into the PL to have opinions on deluded teams such as Vile.
You seem to think you are spoken about around the world in the same context as someone such as Liverpool or Spurs, but having lived overseas you are not.
Most people would not even know which city the Vile were from!
We are in similar situations in that neither of us have ever won the PL, however our last trophy winning escapade was accomplished more recently than yours and [for what it is worth] we equipped ourselves more admirably under the circumstances in Europe than you have done recently.
You may well be 'better' than us and may well have done so since the 1800s [really? you want to go back that far] but as they say in pantomime 'They're behind you' but not in the sense that they are falling behind, more in the sense we are about to catch you and pass you by.
It may not be this season as we have a long way to go to get promoted, however, under the circumstances should they continue in the same vein, it won't be long!
Once again, I really, really hope, somehow, you get to see some good football down at VP next season that is by someone other than the other team!
