He hasn't yet.

But its widely expected that he will announce it after Dortmund's final match on the 12th May.

Hopefully he is just the start. We need a midfield overhaul.

If it's the article from Sporting Life you're talking about. They got the quote from a fake twitter account which was made yesterday. No such interview with TV Osaka took place.

He said he won't make a decision until after the German Cup final.

What about losing to the worst Liverpool team in years in the FA cup, a second string Palace team in CC, going out of the poorest CL group we have ever been in and finally being outplayed twice by the 9th best team in Spain.

Our midfield does need an overhaul. Only a blinkered red can't admit it.

A Liverpool team that narrowly lost in the final. Europe was poor.

But theres obviously no need for an overhaul. Ridiculous.

Can tell you it wont happen anyway.

I don't think we'll be signing any central midfield players, apart from Kagawa who isn't one in the truest sense. But we do need to change it there and dramatically.

we've reached three champions league finals and won the league four times in the last six years and after thirty seven games are level on points with a side who have heavily outspent us four years running. just what more do people want? we also have a very young squad with massive potential. we've had the worse run with injuries i've ever known in a season yet still scored 88 league goals and amassed 86 points, the same as city who haven't even had a player with a broken finger nail from august to may. our points total is far greater than the lauded 94 or 99 teams, and was a ghost penalty at home to newcastle away from winning the league, so you'll forgive me for not quite being the slapped arz miserable git about the current united team that some 'reds' are.

How many of our central midfielders would City want? I'm struggling to name one. Possibly Carrick might get on their bench.

We haven't signed a midfielder for 5 years. Anderson was the last one.

We do need an overhaul for me.

it is a miracle we are in a position to even challenge for the title. we have been over run to many times in central midfield

we have good central midfielders but none is truly world class that can strike fear into opposition team.

Is Kawaga a very good player?

our current squad would have won the league this season but for injuries. to suggest we require an overhaul is laughable.

But you know nothing compared to Sir Alex.

There will be no overhaul. I'm guessing you're excluding wide midfielders. Which is silly as they're still midfielders.

Ole_1999 - Well said.

Ole I agree - people over reacting a bit. we definitely messed up this season but we have won 4 of the last 6 premierships, lost one by a point and will probably lose the other by goal difference.

Yea you are right guys......Our midfield future is fine. what am I talking about?

What with our 37yr old Paul Scholes, our 38 yr old Ryan Giggs, our injury prone Anderson, Fletch with his serious condition and our best Midfield prospect in Pogba possibly off to Juventus.....we are set for years.

We need 2 or 3 midfielders. That to me equates to an overhaul. Because they would go straight into the team OVERHAULING what we currently have.

I dont watch much German football at all. But I know people that do and they speak very highly of him.

"Is Kawaga a very good player?"

-------------------------------------------------

Having watched him quite a lot throughout his two seasons at Dortmund, I can tell you that yes, he is a very good player but if we sign him, I seriously hope it's not with a view to playing him in central midfield in a 4-4-1-1/4-4-2.
