VDV does enough to justify his place even though it puts him in a tough position knowing that the team is essentially formed around him.

Even's Ade's not on the money we give. Don't City pay half or more of his wages. Can't think of anyone just now but there are decent strikers out there that can hold the ball up and play to our system.

VDV's committed to us, he won't leave.

We need a front man that gives 100% rather than 90% and only when we're winning.

I wouldn't like to see Livermore leave yet - homegrown players could count for a lot when we're in a tough spot.

We need a striker that is not just going to come alive after 60 mins when something bad has happened.

For 2 games running Adebayor has not turned up for the first 60 mins.

It took a goal conceded (Bolton) and a red card/10 men (Villa) for him to get remotely interested.

Have you noticed that we only keep clean sheets when the opposition have virtually no attempts at goal?

He doesn't move to his right (Taraabts free kick), he doesn't move to his left (the deflected goal on Sunday) & he doesn't move forward (just watch any corner or cross this season).

Even on one of Walcott's goals he actually walks backwards to open up the angle instead of closing it.

I cant believe anyone is defending him to be honest. He did well in the first 5 games, but that was only because we felt at ease not having a calamity keeper behind the defence.

And its pointless saying "He's good for 41" because age shouldnt come into it. He should just hang up his gloves & join the Zimmers.
