Eikrem is at Molde with Solskjaer, apparently there is a clause in his contact that Utd have first option if another transfer was to happen....

My point is if Eikrem was really that a good he would of gone to make a name for himself by now, but I haven't heard a thing about him not even a whisper!

I see your point. I just thought I'd make another point.

Or you could look at the other side of the coin, eg... Pique

Sometimes, skill is not the only issue.... It can range from all sorts... greed, bad attitude, home sickness, players above you in the 1st team, physical growth etc, etc

This hype you are talking about, i dont think anyone was going about saying Eikrem is the next big thing, he has a very good right foot, great long passer of the ball and a bit of a free kick specialist, they prbably thought that this guy i too good for reserve football and Ole took him to Norway to get him first team football, i wouldnt be surprised to see someone in the Prem signing him..

One of the better midfield players in Tippeligaen (Norwegian Premier League). Having a central role bringing the throphy to Molde and Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

Magnus Eikrem has been linked with a move to German and also Holland after his debut season back in Norway. So he definitly been great. This is the same team selling us Diouf, that later went to Hannover, and been great over there.

He was a great prospect early on, but the Norwegian and United scarlet Mats Møller Dæhli on u18s is a far better talent than Magnus ever was, beeing seen as one of the best talents in his age which is great given he haven't yet developed the physical bit - Which ex. Pogba had.

Technique is great, and this is a year ago even:

Captaincy for Norways youth team aswell.

My point is, if Pogba was really THAT good he would be featuring for the first team alot more than he has done so, for me personally I do believe Pogba has the potential to be a big star in Football but let's remember we don't see this guy train and play everyday so we don't know how his attitude, consistency, workrate etc is..

Fergie has been saying he is a fantastic player for months now, are you ignoring that in your logic process?

Everyone keeps using the if he is good enough he will play logic. We have giggs trudging out for our big games because he is good enough or because he is the best we have? I am sorry i dont buy the if he is good enough theory. I am more on the side of "if fergie likes you, you will play" theory.

Fergie thought pogba would cowtow like reserves before him and did not bring him up when anyone with an inkling could see he should have been up. He was expected to sign, go on loan come back at 20-21 and then start getting spot starts here and there. It is the united way. What fergie did not see is the united way is no more the normal way.

18 yr olds play regularly these days. Its how you get bought at 19 like jones was. After their last season winning the youth cup, they were the talk of the town. They definitely turned eyes (morrison and tunnicliffe too). They played against Mcechrean who was not even close to them but was at the time getting regular starts for chelsea. They knew how good they were, the other teams knew too and they were perfect targets to have their eyes turned.

Eikrem was a fantastic youngster for us and i dare say would have helped us out more than anything the likes of oshea and gibson did. But fergie felt he was not good enough. But make no mistake, he was heads above most in the reserves. His treatment is really a cautionary tale for the rest of the youngsters. It says doing your best at that level wont get you a chance.

Also, spin it anyway you like, if you are losing a youngster to a league champion and historic powerhouse like Juve, A youngster we want to keep, it say more about United than the player. Blackburn, southampton and crystal palace are the ones who complain of losing their youngsters to big clubs. Well now we can add our name to this list.

Ferguson has said to have a "gentlemens agreement" along with the sale of Eikrem to Molde to his mate Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

If he was about to develop into a world class player Molde would sell him back to United for a small fee.

I honestly dont think Morrison ever will play at the international level, not in fotball anyway, in crime? Maybe.

It's a poor decision by Pogba, money rules football - Im afraid.

Im not sure we can put his decision (if these reports are true) down to money, Juventus are a huge club on their way back up, Champions of Italy and now back in Europe, Zidane is an idol of Pogbas and we all know what Zidane did at Juve..

If the reports are true, and Pogba's leaving Juve just so he can get 10k+ a week, the good riddance.

I want to see a new bunch of fledglings come up, a group who play for United, not with us. I want a team that is passionate for our cause, who feels the rivalries, who will literally put their body on the line for us. I want a new Giggs, Scholes, Neville x2, Butt etc.

If Pogba is rules by money, he is not that type of player. Good luck to him, but we can do better. If he does decide to stay at United then hopefully he will be the first of the new bunch to break through.
