Why would anyone say that they didn't understand what you meant when the sentence was quiet clear. It is only you that seems to think that you phrased it correctly.
Either way, is still quiet laughable that you suggest that no-one was considering Dzeko, who was the Bundesliga player of the year 08/09 then top scorer the following year was not being looked at by other clubs. Kompany has been interesting the top teams in Europe since he was 18. Silva was a Euro Champ and World Cup winner, who had been playing for his country for several years and was earning rave reviews at club level. He was attracting plenty of interest.
