I've heard calls for the gyppo to be included in the squad for the Euros, now that would be embarassing!

Next they'll be wanting Hendo to go as well!

It is sad to see how the mighty have fallen. Look at Utd for instance, we could well finish the league on the same points with City and a lot of people consider that failure but you guys are happy with the mickey mouse cup and 8th place.

Who said we're happy?

If you've been on our board or spoke to any of the posters then you'll find that everyone is disappointed - don't make things up to window dress your comments.

Having said that, we've had a more successful season than United - assuming you consider trophies to be a form of success as opposed to prize money

Albert looking forward to it!

Andy Carroll is the most in from striker in world football - I fancy him to be european footballer of the year in the next few seasons

I might even put a bet on him getting 30 goals next season

I do find it funny that poor Jonjo Shelvey has been slated all season by many Scousers yet after last night, he's now their "future Gerrard".

Typical its posted on just the Liverpool board so no one else can comment on it!

I can't even give it 1 star as they have an inability to listen to any sort of criticism.

Andy Carrol at the Euros would be a total joke, though i'm hoping Roy doesnt get suckered into the silly scouse hype and picks someone with a tad more ability.

IMO Englands Strikers should be Rooney, Welbeck, Crouch and Defoe.

Not the pikey!

Albert I disagree with you on that. I think Carroll should go. Rooney is out for the first 2 games and for me, Defoe and Wellbeck don't have the experience. I think Carroll and Defoe/Wellbeck could work well to be honest. We need to take 5 strikers as Rooney is going to miss 2 games. Crouch should go as he has good form this season and his record for England speaks for itself.

But I do actually think Carroll will give us another dimension in the earlier games. Not quite sure how he'll fare if we progress and play the likes of Germany or Spain though. I think he'd let Puyol and Pique know they're in a game though!

If Carroll goes to the Euros I will be livid. He's a very effective player and causes defenders a lot of problems, but for me highlights everything wrong with the philosophy of English football. Big, strong guy who can 'hold the ball up well' and has a strong shot. He's also had a terrible season.

I'm sorry JKN, but I just don't rate him.

JKN i think your insane but everyone entitled to ther opinion

"Defoe and Wellbeck don't have the experience. I think Carroll and Defoe/Wellbeck could work well to be honest."

What experience does Carrol have? Defoe has a fair bit, granted Welbeck doesnt.

If we have to take a 5th striker cause of Rooney's ban i would've taken Sturridge but his form has dropped off towards the end of the season.

Though i dont think we need 5... will we play 2 up front in every game? Who knows but i cant see Roy going gung ho in his first few games.

Seems Puyol will be watching on TV JKN

Anyway, Carroll is a hard choice. His form has come very late in the season. I never saw last nights game but I see even Rooney said he was unplayable

I reckon he may have given Roy a nudge at just the right time

Ah I wasn't sure if Puyol had retired or not.

I think he's worth a punt. Better bet than Sturridge in my opinion.

I guess the problem is delivery in to Carroll really. We've never really had that since Beckham to be honest. Can't remember the last time England scored from a cross!

If Downing goes to the Euros with his prolific season I'll be livid! May as well, just ask David Beckham to play, at least he'll actually be a threat compared to Downing.
