When theres lack of competition for your position you could easily get comfortable and coplacent for example Song.

But he might kill Coquelin! Just like Xabi Alonso wanted to kill Denilson. Poor Francis, so young...

I mean look at Barca, buying Cesc hasn't stopped Thiago making many appearances! And many more of Barca's academy players.
We really need a top B and C team as we can't seem to stop our crazy injuries!

You make some valid points but you seem to be another ignorant fan who is spoiled and doesn't realise that wenger's "blind faith in kids" is the main reason we are not bust and one the best financially run clubs in the world, and it is also that policy that create the liked of vieira, henry, fabregas, van persie, song etc etc. Its incredible that we got years of success out of vieira and henry and still made a tasty profit on them, selling them at the right time. That is down to the genius of monsiuer wenger. I agree though, we should sign m'vila. Perhaps Coquelin should be loaned out?

I genuinely believe wenger hasnt bought proven players because there has been no money. we jnow hws had to make a profit for years but now it appears Stan is bankrolking some decent signings.

coquelin is not just a potential talent though, he is a very good tlent who will go far, we do need to make sure it is for us and not against us.

"No true fan can say not winning trophies or at least contesting for titles (esp EPL) doesnt bother him/her."

Not winning trophies does not bother me. I would rather win trophies, but I don't lose sleep over it when we don't. We do contest the EPL, that's what the 38 played column means in the table at the end of the season.

Guess I'm not a 'true fan'. Ah well, I can live with that.

Exactly... winning trophies is nice, but not winning them does not bother me.

Hanz,
That's kind of why they play isn't it! Sounds like you don't see any new trophies in the near future?

By the way, if the Gunners don't win this week-end then should Arsene be fired?

Yes. Of course it is, and?

"Sounds like you don't see any new trophies in the near future?"

How does it sound like that?

"if the Gunners don't win this week-end then should Arsene be fired?"

On what grounds? If ManU fail to win the league, they would have exited every other competition ahead of Arsenal, should SAF be fired? No, of course not. Stupid question.

Henrys,
The only thing "stupid" is your attempt to equate the success of Man. U and Arsenal in recent years! However, like some others on this medium, you feel uncomfortable with FACTS and often resort to rudeness or personal attack!

Do a little research before you respond to other people's comments. In this case I believe that you will find that, unlike Man. U, Arsenal's recent "trophy success" has been dismal, and I say this as a Gunner fan!

Again, I apologise for introducing FACTS into the issue and perhaps causing you confusion. If anything is "stupid", I believe that trying to equate the recent records of Fergie and Arsene would qualify. GOOD-BYE!

Personal attacks? What are you on about? I was referring to my own question on SAF's sacking being stupid - you want to look at your self for pretty much every criticism in your post.

You asked a simple question, I answered it, and gave good reason in terms you, as a ManU fan, would understand. Jeez, what a berk.

Hang on, maybe you're not a ManU fan - the rest is fine though.

Anyway, you didn't answer any of my questions - just went off on one for seemingly no reason. How's about it then? Why not answer my post rather than go out of your way to be offended by it.

Ah, just seen some more of your comments, it would seem this is what you do to get your kicks - patronise everyone and act all indignant when someone questions your view. Fine, whatever gets you through the day.
