You need a prolific striker, a pacey RW and Lucas to return from injury. Maybe a creative CM to replace Gerrard long term
Watch Carroll come back from the euros with a £40M price tag....ohhhhh...yeeeahhhh!!
had to say, depends on who the manager is if true ie Rafa will obviously have Spanish connections or prefer that type of player, then we could go for say Klinsmann who could attract some of the young decent German players around.
Love to have Falcao, if only, he will be a target of prob Utd,CIty and Chelsea maybe in the Summer.
Rubbish article, completely overlooking the fact our owners wont pay wages that drag the club down. Get in the real world OP
I-NEVER-WALK-ALONE- you are walking alone in your world
Wont pay wages? Have you not seen the amount we pay some of our proven stars already. To get the top players you need to pay big wages its so simple. So Agger your seriously claiming that LFC don't have the wage structure for attracting proven talent?
INWA, he is telling you we do not have the wage structure to compete with Chelsea and Man City.
Simple as
What have those teams got to do with anything? I'm not saying we should bid for Falcao now with those teams. I'm on about on a year - 18 months ago we should have replaced proven quality with proven quality the same way athletico Madrid have. In the case of Torres we still haven't replaced him yet.
Have you forgot that at the time you mention our club almost went to the wall thanks to Hicks and Gilette? We are lucky to have a club that's still in the Premiership after that fiasco.
Add that to say for example, Sergio Aguero who on over 200k a week. Compare that to AC who on about 50 and do the math. It's not just the transfer fee we are talking about.
If that's not enough for you to grasp, then realise that players like Aguero want CL football as well as massive wages and you will develop an idea why those players can't be signed until we qualify for the CL at least.
lol this is why I rarely have debates on here as I highlight Falcao and you bring up Aguero as an example? Like there's even a comparison! Aguero is even more established on an international stage and high profile so hence even higher costs. Also he would never have gotten such inflated wages at any other club except city. If Dalglish had the time/money again, you really think he would spend 35million on Carroll Again? 35 Million on unproven talent speaks for itself.
Its hard to watch knowing that the Torres money should have been spent on this guy (or similar international proven calibre). But hey that's the past.

We signed Suarez around the time of Torres departure. By the time the summer came we were out of the CL. Sorry OP but you need to accept that Liverpool can't cherry pick players anymore and getting a proven international quality player is not as easy as you suggest.
I'm not sure Falcao would have been the best option to replace Torres, he's basically Suarez with better teeth.
Andy Carroll was the right choice and he's beginning to prove that.
