We have had a cracking season this time round and I wouldn't swap it for anything, can you say the same under the circumstances?

You seem to forget we are already in the same place we were last season, you are slipping down the slippery slope.
Just think, three years back you were contenders for the top six, now you are avoiding relegation by goal difference

We got relegated under McJudas on 39pts The best Villa can do is get 41pts just two more than we did.
The worse case is Villa end up on less than we did.
So you have not been vastly better than us last season.
Before you moan about the injuries and loss of Bent for a number of games....
Well what we had was also key players not playing and not due to injuries (but we had a share of them) but because McLeish would not play players like Hleb, Bousajour and Bentley often at all. And Zigic, Phillips and Derbyshire hardly got many games.
You see McLeish played Jerome over and over in a negative formation.... had Blues had Bent last season and Villa Jerome then i am sure Blues would had stayed up and Villa well you may had come close to going down.
You see the bottom line is McLeish, Villa are a decent side, without Bent and N'Zogbia you are nothing special, but as with Blues last season the team was not that bad.... just a joke of a Manager when it came down to negative tactics in the League.
The concern for Villa now is, has Lerner fell out of love? Can you keep Bent?
Because i dont think Bent would want to stay at Villa unless Villa start to spend, he left Sunderland because he thought Villa was a side that was going to show ambition and have more chance of challening for a top 6-8.
N'Zogbia will throw his toys out and want back to Newcastle or Sunderland if Villa are not challening for Top 8 by Xmass.
So yes we are in the Championship and its gonna be a hard season next.
But i think Villas problems have only just started.....

- How do you feel about the rapid demise of your club?
- Has Lerner really decided to claw back his cash and let you hovver around the bottom end of the PL for the forseeable?
- Do you think Bent & N'Zogbia will want to stay now you are playing the McLeish 9-0-1 formation, with no chance of a trophy or entertaining football?
And see if you can do this without resorting to that 'diversion from your own clubs problems' garbage.

No to Admin and Bankrupcy, if they were going to happen they would have happened already. We have new investment lined up fpr when the acounts are announced next week.
Will the manager walk? as I said previosuly I don't know, I hope he don't and reading his interview in the mail toay it seems like he wants to stay but we just don't know what he will do over the summer!

We are both in a kind of mess, but at present I would take ours every time.
