I'll work in reverse order:

4) That's not a problem with my PS3.

3) I agree, there is a massive difference in class between 5 star teams. There are some teams that should be 6 stars, if anything.

2) That's just your finishing.

1) It's to stop things like kit clashes, glitches and people using cheat players to gain an advantage. That's why there is the 5 minute opening window.
It's not perfect, but it does prevent other problems.

On the Number 1 Issue i was not aware that the 5 minute rule was done on purpose, i find it really annoying, i tend to score VERY early, and this is after 5 minutes of sorting out my tactics and loading everything etc

If its down to kit clashes they should give you a chance to quite the game at the KO

Yeah, it's annoying but what's more annoying is playing a game realising your opponent has a hacked player who's 7 foot and 99 overall.

Does that happen on the Season Mode? I know you play as your own team with Kent and things.

Personally, I think that if a goal is scored in the first 5 minutes it should count as a goal because their's easily enough time between seeing the opposition team and them getting to the goal to quit from the game.

I think we've encountered it once but it's not very common on the PS3. That video is the sort of things I'm on about, though. Those huge players are clearly too quick and agile to be proper players.

But only if the opposition has a touch on the ball, otherwise you cant pause it and quite. I think both players should be able to pause the game at the KO, not just the guy Kicking Off...I have played against people who just pass the ball between the back 4 for the first 5 minutes of the game so you cant pause it and quit

That's true, you have to sign out or even turn the console off which is a hassle.

I never really played FIFA11 online so I don't know how big the problem was but it must have been big enough for them to try something. I doubt it'll be the same in the next version, though.

There are a lot of small issues they could sort out for the next version, i dont make my own team, im only an online person as i can just turn on the PS3 and play a quick 10 minute game

This! They seem to overrate all the PL teams. I love playing with Tottenham but not as a 5* team. Wolves 4* team, and finished bottom with 3 weeks left. No other 3.5* teams other than Swansea, Norwich and Wigan.

Biggest gripe i have it people having one shot in the first minute then turning off thier ps3 and it comes up as a loss for me

That and basically the only important attributes are pace and balance
