Liverpool have had a sh it enough season anyway. The FA thought there was no need to rub in it!

Could it be that that there is some truth in those accusations about the FA favouring certain teams and players ?
------------------------------
As much of a as Suarez is, you can't really say he's one of those players (e.g. Rooney) that the FA give preferential treament to.
Yawn
There was no assault or swipe to the face.
Essien's "tackle" however was an assault and definitely should be investigated.
There were a few dodgy tackles on both sides, but Essien's was by far the worse!

Yeah i mean shelvey stamping on maloudas head was just a love card compared to it....
There could have been 4 reds in that game, two for each side...
Shelvey, Suarez, Ivanoviv & Essien
Essien's 'tackle' was unbelievable, how he got away with that I'll never know. All things about a tackle that should be red - 1. from behind 2. off the ground 3. two footed
OP you were beat, get over it and stop whining. To come here whining about Suarez brushing Ivanovich's neck on the way back from his chest after attempting to pull im back when Ivanovich went down holding his face, after he should have not been on the pitch and an Essien tackle which could have broken Carroll's leg, is quite frankly ridiculous.
Shelvey got away with ~4 bookable offences and should've seen red for his kick on Malouda.
Essien's was a potentially career ending tackle.

Suarez clearly hit Ivan in the face, although i'm not sure it was intentional.
Speaking of people holding their face Carroll.
Another with a blue mist in front of his eyes

Alright, show me a replay which shows Suarez clearly hitting him in the face.
Yeah Carroll pulled the same stunt as Ivanovich but at least Carroll was actually hurt when he went down, unlike that pansy Ivanovich who's good at dishing it out but not at taking it.
Essien's tackle, if you can call out it that was awful, for that reason alone, I for one wouldn't be pointing fingers at anyone else

The elbow to the chest/neck area sort of gave this impression.
Essien’s tackle was bad and could easily be a red but ‘career ending’, come one! It was down the back on a calf not on shin. It was reckless but wouldn’t really hurt or risk major injury. Suarez’ was assault, I can’t believe I just read a comment practically denying it ever happened!
Essien's tackle was a disgrace. It wasn't even a tackle, it looked more like he wanted to take frustration out on Carroll's leg which happened to look like a surfboard to him or something like that. But the ref felt that a yellow card was enough of a punishment. Suarez on the other hand, apparently the ref did not see him swinging at Ivanovic's face as he did not even give a free kick. For that reason the FA should be allowed to investigate the incident and punish Suarez if they feel necessary.
