I always assumed Xavi was better than Iniesta, shows how little i know.

Kagawa can move to the left with Rosicky replacing him in midfield when we are playing in Europe. He'll be our 'new' Benayoun.

It's pretty close tbh. When I say Iniesta is easily the best, I'm just trying to make my point more valid. There isn't much between the players, but Xavi is 4 or 5 years older. I think Iniesta is better at the moment, and he'll be ever better when he reaches Xavi's age.

Nasri is French version of Iniesta.

Fair enough, not much in it, but I think Iniesta

Comparing Nasri to Iniesta is comical.

Ok, just to confirm.

Iniesta is the best midfielder in the world.

Even Sun is running the Kagawa story now, but they are saying the price is 5m.

Nasri and Iniesta, both incredibly talented, but ineffective at same time considering their talents.

IMO Iniesta and Nasri should be challenging for top3 players in world spot.

How is Iniesta ineffective?

To place Nasri alongside Iniesta is ludicrous.

I've always rated Nasri but he is not in Iniesta's league, not even close. The only prem midfielder who comes close to Iniesta is Silva.

Xavi and Messi both outshine him every match. For me he just doesn't do enough to be better than Xavi.

Talent wise, I'd say Iniesta is better, but out on the pitch, when Xavi's not there, Barca look a bit lost. That's when you'd expect Iniesta to fill in.

No co incidence that Xavi's been a bit off form this season, collided with Barca not winning Liga.

If this debate continues, I'll contribute later in the day as I'm tired..... zzzzzzz

That's not true. Iniesta's movement and passing is key to Barcelona's success. Plus being outshone by Xavi and Messi doesn't mean you're ineffective (he doesn't get outshone by them anyway).

Barca haven't been at their best this season because Messi has been their only real goalscorer. Pedro has only recently started rediscovering his old form and Villa has been injured for the majority of the season. Plus they haven't kept possession well enough. That's partically down to Fabregas and Sahcnez.
