I thought he was a pretty solid all rounder.. Perhaps i'd have Pollard instead

Too be honest i'm still not sure about Pollard. He seems to struggle against the short ball and he can't pick spin but when he does connect it does go out of the ground but the jury is still out on him for me. I can see Swann, Ajmal and Ashwin licking there lips when it comes to bowling at him.

Kallis isnt a T20 player.

Kallis can do anything. One of the greatest players to grace the game. Why do you say Kallis isnt a t20 player.....because he is a legend in other 'more proper' formats.

But he averages 35 with the bat in both t20Is at around and domestic games at a 120 SR which is a solid effort..

Kallis in the shorter formats is well known to choke in the big games. He always looks decent in the group games but as soon as semi or a quarter stage he never delivers.

We're not talking about "proper formats" though are we.

Hi strike rate isnt high enough in T20's. He scores too slowly is and a very selfish player. He puts pressure on the lower order when he scores 50 of 40 balls!

He opens the batting so his strike rate should be miles higher.
