I am not sure goal.com, nor anyone who is not involved with the club, appreciate how Bould coaches. They are just looking at ways to attack us. He also ignored the fact that Banfield has come in, who apparently is inventive on the training ground

A quality appointment if you ask me. He's done great work at youth level so now he can work with the same players as they become senior.

This idea that Pat Rice was a yes man, I'm not sure I buy it.

Wenger specifically said that Pat Rice did have a difference of opinion on many occasions but backed him fully when Wenger thought otherwise.

At the end of the day, if you work for someone and have a difference of opinion you have to challenge your boss in a respectful way, Wenger is the boss he does and will do what he pleases.

No point blaming the 2nd in command!

Which makes him a yes man! If Wenger always ended up doing things his way then Rice's services had no importance to him

Funny how Pat has only been dubbed a 'yes man' during our recent, leaner times.

He always has been but Wenger's ideas and skills were good enough back then but now they've expired and Rice hasn't been able to help him shake things up, like the article said Fergie has always refreshed so maybe this was the right time.

Oh the ease of being a web 'journalist'!

The article reeks of BS and assumptive, circular arguments.

It's a childlike take on an area the author obviously knows nothing about.

It's long been known that Wenger has the casting vote on any issue. That's his job.

Of course, if Wenger deferred to Rice or anyone else, the dickless journo could write some pap about Wenger having his underlings doing his job for him.

Worthless.
