Defoe may deserve to play more but he should also remember how he was getting plenty of game time last season (18 games in fact) during his goal drought.
Spurtle,
Was that when he had on his 100 goal t-shirt? That really me off.
Spent to much time at the wrong club, should never have come back from Portsmouth,
would have got shedloads of goals at Arsenal playing the fox in the box role......
Yes Chunky . Forget his 100th goal if he had scored he should have just celebrated the fact that he finally managed to score again after so long.
groovy why would Arsenal have been any better for him? Unless you're RVP then you don't end up scoring for Arsenal. Just ask Chamakh, Gervinho and Bendtner.
Defoe would have got goals at Arsenal his style of play would have suited,we make so many chances around the box and a player like Defoe would have scored,
Bendtner is joint top scorer at Sunderland,Chamakh will be gone in the summer,Gervino is a provider for RvP.
We created numerous options for him last season and it didn't stop him scoring only about 3 goals in over 18 appearances. It's not so much about the club, it's about the player. I don't think Defoe has or will ever be good enough to be a 20-goals a season striker and he's proved it.

At Tottenham....Exactly.... still feel he would have done better elsewhere, your not renowned for the coaching of strikers at Spurs.

And you don`t think Spurs create loads of chances around the box as well, of course they do. Defoe has gone way backwards over the past couple of years, he has been given chances and never fully grasped them.
You may create chances around the box but most of the time Defoe is not playing,so who is missing all these chances surely not Ade.
Defoe at Arsenal? Come on man. I'd rather have Chamakh.
Defoe likes Haribo, has his brain in his d|ck and was born offside.
That's why he doesn't play?
He is no oil painting though, be better concentrating on getting in the team?
I understand why he's disappointed (the Parker substitution must have been the final kick in the nuts) and I am too - he's looked much much better this season than last, and from all the talk pre-season he'd made a lot of effort and was hugely up for it. A shame.
why do we need defoe when weve got scotty 'the hitman' parker to bang em in ?
