How come nobody wants our deadwoods?

The biggest problem for Arsenal is that those players mentioned, perhaps with the exception of Traore are on big money and Bendtner & Denilson are on wages that don't reflect their ability or contribution to the club.

What I want to know is how come our good players are valued at the same price as Jordan Henderson and Andy Carroll???

Sorry, that was completely off topic...

Because clusb across europe dont have money!

Only a few clubs are in the champions league.

Plus the new fair play rules are coming in as well.

Because our good players want out, it makes easy for other teams to play hardball with us knowing we're in weak position.

Agree, I nearly choked on my caviar and cristal when I heard that Denilson was on 55k a week.

Is it any wonder he has not found another club.

I said in an article yesterday that teams are waiting to make last minute bids when they will be sure that we will accept very low offers.

Please add Rosicky to your list. He is indeed part of the deadwood.

It's time the likes of Denilson took a wage cut, considering they will be downsizing from a top4 club....it's just common sense, it's not as if they are a short of a bob or 2.

My list includes Almunia, Squillaci and Rosicky. I hope QPR comes for those three.

It highlights how incompetent Gazidis and Wenger are at doing their jobs. We've all heard about the financial restraints the club is under and the need to spend prudentally.

Then they go an offer Denilson £60,000 per week and Almunia £50,000 per week.

Because Vela didn't do it at WBA. Denilson we have better. Traore is untested and Bendter is Bendter. Better value for money else where

Andy, you cant argue with line up.

Simpson------Coliccini------Wiliamson-------Traore

Burton-----------Denilson----------Tiote--------Ben Arfa

Bet that was a hangover from hell for Wenger when he woke up the next morning

Compulsive traroe isn't better than enrique. Denilson isn't better than Cabaye - french double winner last year along with gervinho and Ba is better than Bendter. HBA will play number 10 this year with barton jonas and marveaux competing for wings

Andy,

Traore might not be better than Enrique but Spaniard is on his last yearr. Bendtner is way better than Ba...Denilson can win the French Ligue, as a matter of fact any1 can win that league.

In all reality, as I eluded to in other posts, when the likes of players like Denilson and Bendtner are on 50/60k a week, who can afford those wages?

Realistically ONLY Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs (at a push). And they don't want/need those players.

Similar to clubs abroad, only the "top clubs" could afford their wages, irrespective of any transfer fee.

The only hope would be a team funded by sugardaddys in Russia or the Ukraine, like Anzhi or Shaktar. But it's unlikely any of the players would be enthused about moving to play their football in that neck of the woods.

BTW I still think that Nic has some genuine talent and would turn out great if he remains patient and turns down his arrogance a little. He will most definitely turn out great for any club he goes to.
