"So where were the other 500k hiding?"

They were at the other parade held in London.

yeah, i personally take pride in our club and our support. another reason why city had to restrict their parade to the city centre today was down to the fact that suburbs are full of reds. this obviously wasn't a problem for us in 99.

no, i didn't. on that website gmp only state the number of supporters in the city centre itself. the one million estimate was in relation to those on the entire parade route. do keep up.

From BBC article

Estimates suggest that half a million people will line the streets if United retain the Champions League title.

Haha that's pretty funny. Nice one, Carlos!

He's from South America, he probably has to draw pictures of headstones with the names of people he knows all the time...

Seriously though, Tevez is a rat. He snubbed his own club and fans, damaged his relationship with his manager almost beyond repair, has since done next to nothing, and thinks he's being big by doing this to one of the greatest names in UK football history.

Waster.

Doing 'this'? 'This' as in cheekily reminding Fergie of a silly remark he made?

1 million people for United's victory parade in 1999?

Let's put this into some perspective.

Firstly, 1 million people is double the entire population of the city of Manchester.

Secondly, the 2002 commonwealth games in Manchester attracted one million people, and that was spread over 10 days, not over a couple of hours.

Anyway...

"A police source told the M.E.N.: "There were around 200,000 for the treble parade in 1999.""

This Ole fella's quite the liar isnt he? Thinks he can slip under the rader with his boring style of posting and lack of smileys.

you are aware that people from further than just the city of manchester itself attended the 99 homecoming? the figure was quoted at one million around the time. as i've said repeatedly the parade route stretched seven miles and incorporated old trafford itself and also includes 50,000 who were inside the m.e.n for the civic reception. if you look at the images from deansgate alone you'll see that the estimate looks pretty much spot on.

skip to 0:28 and 0:52. no team has ever had a homecoming of such proportions and never will do again. it makes city's showing tonight look like people waiting for a bus.

There were 65million people for the 1999 parade in Manchester. That was just in the City centre. Source: Ole_1999.

BusyBabes

You are a plank and I mean that in the worst possible way

The tombstone and the 'R.I.P FERGIE' in capitals is suggesting that it is the end of Fergie's era and that a new period of dominance is about to start in the blue half of Manchester. Tevez was not trying to insinuate that he wishes death upon Ferguson or anything like that He may be stupid, but he's not THAT much of an idiot.

Given Tevez's antics over the last couple of years, did you really expect any different from him? Yes it is classless, but I'm not sure why you expected him to be gracious or to be magnanimous in victory. He joined your local rivals FFS. And you expect him to not display any signs of contemptuousness towards his former employer?

The fact that you think Tevez is implying he wants Ferguson to die just shows how much of an idiot you are and how paranoid you are getting You utter fool.
