Villa really need to get this one right. Your club must spend as much on managers as they do on players.

those managers are far too good for villa imo.

isnt steve mclaren available?

Cant believe for a minute that another ex-blues manager is on the top 10 list.

Why do some Villa fans dislike Martin O'Neill? He had you challenging for top four and regularly got you in the top six, as well as a Cup Final.

Because he dared to walk out on them just before the start of the season.

They're a massive club you see and managers dont quit the village, they either retire or are sacked and for that they will never forgive him.

If Guardiola is leaving Barca surely Villa is the logical choice?

Out of that lot from the standpoint of showing ambition it would be Rafa Benitiez, did challenge fergie and Mourinho with not the greatest liverpool side ever.

The Martinez bandwagon is a strange one, a few months back he was on the verge of getting the sack. With Lambert the Canaries have done well this season but 1st season syndrome in the premiership is a dodgy thing to go on.

The only name that has done well in the prem (and europe) is benetiz. But we wont get him as he knows what he wants and needs to meet his expectations.

But can we afford to take another gamble on a manger and then pay them off, with the untried managers on the top 10.

I can't believe that Mad Mick isn't in the top 10, I might just go and stick a big wedge on him today just so he is installed as the bookies favourite and watch the villa fans have another protest outside villa park!

I'd better check Central News. If a blouse has a big wedge, a post office must have been robbed...............

Nothing wrong with the top 9 of that list. Except I reckon Kevin Mac is probably better in his current role, and while I wouldn't say no to Benitez I'm not sure he's a good fit for Villa. Glad it doesn't include the likes of Lennon, Billy Davies....

Yep, sacking Eck was the easy part.............

Martinez is no.1 with the bookies now. Jeepers.
