Hey, every club has idiots - it makes the rest of us feel much better about ourselves though, no?
yeah they are like those cousins that you only speak to once a year but walk away with a smile about your own life...
"it was rhetorical..." I know.
"again thats why you dont see anything like this on our board..." Never been there, but I doubt that's true - why would Liverpool be the only club to not have idiot supporters on their own board? We certainly get a few on this board.
You lot are on Birminghams level.

As two teams who have won a trophy more recently than arsenal ?
Yes, I suppose so.
I'll give you the Champions League... enjoyed that game best match ive seen as a neutral
Serious question then... do you think Kenny has done enough not to get sacked?
Ignoring woeful league results...
As an outsider i've got to say the way he handled the Suarez thing was really really bad for the image of your club

Im afraid as much as I respect the man for what he has done for the club over the years, yes, hes done more than enough.
Kenny has broken far too many of the wrong kind of records, to expect to retain his job.
I disagree think he should get another year, but simply because i dont want to be that club with the revolving door of managers...
i think more than anyone Arsenal fans can see the benefit of backing a manager even through the bad times.
However I would give him very clear expectations and restraints.
I dont blame him for the Suarez thing he was advised by the comms director which is why he lost his job last week.
Wasnt it Commoli who grassed his up to the ref anyway?
Do you think Kenny is the right man to take you forward though? For me he seems stuck in the past, football has changed so much since he last managed.
I actually think Liverpool should keep King Kenny on. I think to see Liverpool's strategy you should look at the Boston Red Sox. When FSG took them over, they bought a lot of players very expensively, at over-the-odds prices, and people laughed at them. However, there was a strategy, which was to pick players who had a proven track record (in numbers terms) and who were already delivering, albeit in unconventional ways. In the following seasons those players proved to be decent and the Red Sox finally broke the Curse of the Bambino.
The thing is though, baseball is much easier to model statistically than football, because it's such a structured game. And I think FSG had no way of ensuring that the numbers they were using were relevant to performance. But in order to assess whether this "moneyball" strategy has been a success, we need to wait and see how the team plays in the second and third seasons, when the pressure of transfer fees diminishes, and when the team has had time to settle.
I think Carroll will definitely improve with time, as will Henderson. Downing I never personally rated, but he surely can't be as bad next season as he has been this season...
