Errrrmmm...

Normally, I wouldn't give a scrap of thought to what other managers say about us, but this is the man who blew Megson's gasket.

And for that reason...Legend*

*The use of the word 'Legend' might be pushing it a bit, but you get my drift...

He's right. We're not a West Ham. We're not going to be spending that kind of money.

West Ham aint back yet...so Warnock beware.

Ps didnt Warnock call Diouff a sewer rat..then recently tried to sign him?

Like I say...dont listen to a thing the man says!!!

We're certainly not West Ham. And look what they've managed to do with a bunch of players we've released or not deemed good enough to keep.

All this posturin' from Leeds ...a team that could only finish 14 in the league, where the table proves there's still 11 better sides than Warnock's losers in the Championship, and that's without counting the 3 coming down! he should be worryin' more about how Leeds are ever going to break into the top 10, never mind anythin' else!

Why are Leeds 2nd favourites to win the league?

I guess the more money that's placed on a team, the shorter the odds become. There's little to do in Leeds except drink and gamble, so I reckon a lot of boozed up Elland Roaders have hoyed their Jobseekers Allowance on Warnock's lads, the same as usual

precisely firstof, the odds are set by the amount placed on a given outcome. Of course bookies aren't stupid so whenever England enter a tournament like say Euro2012 they keep the odds a bit longer to attract more bets as they know there's very little chance of them having to pay out.

But Leeds have a huge fanbase and I suspect a lot of them would place a bet on Leeds winning everything regardless. Their odds will be short because the championship is also pretty unpredictable. Did anyone really see Southampton and Reading as the top two earlier in the season?

It's a very competitive division and with 46 games to play there are many twits and turns that can chage the picture quite quickly while teams that make a slow start by prem standards have more time and leeway to catch up

twists and turns not twits

No, no, no, no, no...that's not quite how it works, chaps.

Movement in price is caused by lots of punters e.g. The Grand National where everybody backs a horse with the same name as their grandmother. Consequently, the favourite hardly ever wins. But these are opening odds. So I'm wondering what the bookies see in a team that finished so far down the league to install them as early favourites.

Apart from that, everything else you've said about Leeds is spot on.

Werzel Gummidge may regret saying that. Let's not dodge the issue, we have the talent in our team to tear this division apart.
