backwards knuckle draggers
I honestly just don't understand the thinking behind hooligans. The only thing I can think of is an adrenaline rush, but even that you can get through things that don't affect the health of other people or break the law. Surfers.
Whilst these people exist, and would probably want to cause problems at the Euro's i don't think we will see many problems in the summer.
Ukraine is continuing to push this out of the domestic game, with varying levels of success, but tbh the international tournament is a huge opportunity for good income and for Ukraine to show that it can hold a major tournament.
I have strong faith in the tournament organisers that the competition will be safe for all fans, although i have no doubt that some neanderthals will be there hoping for an opportunity to fight.
An old school friend of mine is one such person, regularly hooking up fights with opposition fans at games. The good news is that he's behind bars - thank good i no longer know the lad.
It's the whole tribal attitude, I really don't think they go for the football.
Yeah i saw the report today, they were far right facists who spoke of their hatred of asian people and Tottenham, pure sumbags.
That said we do get these warning before every international tournements and nothing big ever happens, there might be a couple of flash points but nothing horrendous.
On other note, i haven't got Sky Sports News anymore so saw it for the first time in a while on Sky Sports 1 to met by a new broadcaster Olivia Godfrey wow! puts all the others to shame, even our very own Hayley McQueen which is something i'd never thought i say.

When you've got players like Rebrov as an example what do you expect?
'Sergei Rebrov was at the centre of a race row in September 2008 by giving Spurs new signing Roman Pavlyuchenko some controversial advice. The former Tottenham striker reportedly warned Pavlyuchenko not to go out near White Hart Lane - because lots of "dark-skinned people" live there. Rebrov's comments came in an interview in Russian magazine Football Weekly on how £13.8 million signing Pavlyuchenko should adapt to British life.
Rebrov, who played for Spurs between 2000 and 2004, said: "I wouldn't go for a walk on my own around White Hart Lane. A lot of dark-skinned people live there. So naturally the crime rate is higher than anywhere else. It's not nice to be a robbery victim. So I suggest that Roman doesn't walk but drives around that area."
I found it amusing to see the leader of the hooligans wearing a West Ham shirt.
