Fuller&Heskey up front for Derby next season,
More hope than Bob Hope, not with these yanks in charge.
Would be a good signing if delivered tho wassa, yes??
Would be a good signing for you guys.
No offence but i hope we dont go for him!
Would be a great signing, cant see GSE paying his wages though
Do we want to be paying the wages Fuller and Heskey will be wanting?
fuller over heskey anyday.
those 2 however are gonna be high on the wishlist of the promoted clubs though. not sure gse would automatically be to blame if we didnt go for them though, that would be very simplistic and naive scapegoating (though very convenient for some)
I'm not a fan of his personally and not sure if Clough would want to sign him given his past record, however he has shown maturity in later years but what about Alan Smith?
Newcastle are unlikely to want him in the squad - currently with MK Dons. Can play in central midfield as a combative midfielder or as a target man. Would be good for Ball to learn from a player who's got experience in the PL and the Champions League.
Again - not a personal favourite. Looking at him as somebody who could possibly improve the side. Thoughts?
Ricardo Fuller is a good shout from this relative of yours who speaks regularly to a customer at work who is in the know at DCFC - sheepy. We know how reliable those sources are.
Wages obviously come into it, but you never know what the player is after. Stoke is on our doorstep, he doesn't have to move so his family are settled! Derby would suit him down to the ground!

alan smith- good shout, forgot about him.
Alan Smith played very well for Franchise FC last night against Huddersfield and would be an excellent addition in terms of experience.
Fuller? Yes please.
Heskey? Got a lot to offer (as long as goals isn't what you are looking for).
I have a feeling though that all three would be way out of our price range.
Fuller and Smith???? We cannot afford green, but going to have these two?
Maybe the end of season ale is bit stronger than I remember
smith and fuller.....if only. I think I'd even put a bet on for next season if those two came off. ,ok>
Wash your mouths out! We have not sunk so low that we need Mr Dirty Leeds at our club.
I think a big goalscorer is a part of the jigsaw that is currently missing. It's a shame we didn't manage to land Sammon because from what I've seen of him at Wigan I think he would've scored a sackfull at championship level.
Alan Smith??? Christ no.
I work in the concrete jungle that is Milton Keynes, and have been privvy to views on him from local 'fans' (who dont support Spurs or Arsenal) and by all accounts he is past it, slow, overweight and generally not good enough. He's been on the bench for MK Dons all season.
I'd rather we tried to source an up-and-coming striker and had an experienced player maybe as back-up but not as our main strike reinforcement.
Maybe we should/could look to Europe for someone up and coming. Plenty of prospects in Belgium's Jupiler League and several linked to English sides (Charles Benteke).
Christian Benteke, got his first name wrong.
