Without all twenty teams the league would have looked like this:
that league looks really close !
I had to chortle at, within 30 minutes of this article being up, our North London cousins are already in the middle of a smiley fight at 10:30 in the morning.
All it took was a whimsical hypothetical situation.
The only team in that group to get any points off City were Arsenal and as a punishment they've dropped a place.
Harsh but fair.

spurs wouldn't have had ade though would they meaning all his goals for them and points would be gone so the tots would be lingering around the 8-14th place area

That would not be correct.
Lets assume we played Man City on the first day of the season and lost. 3 points down.
Without City we could have played Man United on the first day and won.
This really could have given us a boost and we could have gone the season unbeaten to win the title.
Different game, different scenarion and possibly different outcome.
Ah, but if ManC didn't exist then Liverpool, Chelsea, ManU and Arsenal would have more fans, therefore more income, therefore....oh, I've forgotten what my point was now...

arsenal? !!!
Let's assume my brother is Prince Charles.
In a few weeks it would have been my mum's Golden Jubilee and I wouldn't have the bank holiday off
Different brother, different scenario, different otcome.
"Let's assume my brother is Prince Charles."
So you're gay then?
Why are you looking for someone?
Not really, you and your brother are not for me - Edward's too camp and Andrew's too, you know. Hang on, you could be Anne! Of course Anne, then....no.
A typical, posts season, very funny thread.
Well done, Boris.
Just what is it you're looking for then or have you wandered onto the wrong site again?
"Again?"
This has happened before - my god, I best check my browser history
What this really shows is that if this country did not have to suffer with the area known as "Manchester" then Tottenham Hotspur would be league champions.
So anyone got any ideas on how to make Manchester disappear?
