What a great final that was

Yes it was, obviously would have preferred to be on the winning side however to experience the pinacle of European football is something I never dared believe could come true, but I was convinced that having reached a final more were to come and I am convinced that we will win it, maybe not this weekend but we will.

I will be there on Saturday as I was in Moscow and win or lose I know I am in for a fantastic experience, the sort that all fans should get to experience but sadly few will.

We shouldve win IMO. I thought we were the better team but it wasn't meant to be that night.

By the way speaking of Finals I worked out that if you don´t include the Finals we played under Avram Grant then we´ve actually won 10 out of the last 11 Finals we played in.

If you don´t include the 3 Finals we played under Ranieri and Avram Grant then we´ve won 10 out of the last 10 Finals we´ve played in which sounds even better.

Good idea but the chances of it getting on tv would be slim.

In all seriousness, I have had to harden my resolve for this trip. I have been getting so many requests from people asking for help planning trips, getting tickets, even asking for programs (some people don't realise they are pretty much unique to the UK).

I have politely declined to assist anyone for anything because this trip for me is massive, I want to enjoy it and not have to worry about other peoples needs so am taking a selfish approach and making no promises to anyone

Don't even have a ticket and I'm going. Wouldn't even dream of missing this.

Im so close I don't feel the need to buy a ticket as I feel it won't make a difference.
